ABOUT THE WEBINAR

In a world where success is increasingly measured by outcomes, contract and commercial management takes on a new importance particularly when outcomes are delivered by projects operating in an environment of ever increasing complexity where uncertainty abounds.

Traditional contracts allocate responsibilities and risk, which encourages the blame game, rather than problem-solving, when things go wrong. The purpose of contracts is to establish the agreement that the parties have made and to set their rights and duties in accordance with that agreement. This purpose represents the universal understanding of the use of a contract. All too frequently this is limited and adversarial.
