About

ICCPM Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are dedicated to discussing and learning more about a variety of topics in complex project management. They provide a conducive environment for ICCPM Members to come together virtually to share their expertise and experiences, and learn from one another. SIGs are also dedicated to contributing to the growing body of knowledge in complex project management.

Special Interest Groups interact through forums that span various topics in complexity.

ICCPM currently has two (2) Special Interest Groups; Managing Risk in Complexity SIG (MRC SIG) and Analytics in Complex Projects SIG (ACP SIG).

    • Analytics in Complex Projects SIG (ACP SIG)
ICCPM's ACP SIG is a forum fostering collaboration to enable cross-disciplinary insights that enhance decision-making in complex projects. The group will facilitate knowledge exchange and share best practices, case studies, and lessons learned. This collective wisdom helps practitioners navigate complexities and apply data-driven approaches effectively. The SIG will promote the adoption of data-driven tools, including AI models, to address project challenges and optimise resource allocation. The ACP SIG will be a hub for knowledge, collaboration, and technology adoption, ultimately improving project success in complex contexts. We aim to bring together experts from diverse fields—project management, data science, AI, and more.

    • Managing Risk in Complexity SIG
      (MRC SIG)
ICCPM's MRC SIG is a forum for open conversations and collaborative exploration into managing risk and uncertainty in complex project environments.  The MRC SIG aims to identify and to develop improved risk management insights, tools, and methods of value to project owners and managers.  In addition to four formal SIG meetings each year, there will be ongoing opportunities for ad-hoc meetings and collaboration on topics of interest to members.
