Analytics in Complex Projects Special Interest Group (ACP SIG) started in 2024 as a continuation of the conversation from the 2022-23 International Roundtable Series theme – Data Analytics for Informed Decision-Making in Complex Projects: Exploring the Human-Data Relationship

ICCPM is excited to welcome 2 passionate new Co-Chairs to take the helm of the Analytics in Complex Projects Special Interest Group (ACP SIG). We are joined by Jackie O’Dowd and John Al Khateeb, who bring a wealth of practical experience from rich careers spanning a wide range of industries and countries.

We would like to thank the outgoing Co-Chairs, Dr Ripon Chakrabortty (Senior Lecturer (Systems Engineering & Decision Analytics), UNSW Canberra) and Dr Heather Brindley (Founder, AXiLe Informatics), for their time and hard work in establishing this Special Interest Group, and the contribution of their experience and expertise.

We look forward to the discussions that the ACP SIG will have about data analytics, data visualisation, AI, decision-making, and the applications in complex project environments. ACP SIG aims to bring together an international community of experts from diverse fields—project management, data science, AI, and more. By fostering collaboration, we can enable cross-disciplinary insights that enhance decision-making in complex projects.

Analytics in Complex Project (ACP SIG) began in 2024 as a continuation of the conversation started with the 2022-23 International Roundtable Series, and seeks to explore all facets of the theme – ‘Data Analytics for Informed Decision-Making in Complex Projects: Exploring the Human-Data Relationship‘.
