This morning, PGCS announced the multi-year PGCS CASG Research Grant was awarded to a combined research team of Western Sydney University (WSU) and the International Centre for Complex Project Management (ICCPM). The team will be led by Associate Professor Dr Xiaohua (Sean) Jin (Director, Project Management Programs, WSU).

We are thrilled that the proposal, titled ‘Need for Speed – Shifting culture in project management and controls practices in the Australian Defence sector to achieve Speed to Capability Outcomes‘ was selected as “best aligned to the research question”. Recognising the significance of this research Mr. Chris Deeble, AO CSC Deputy Secretary CASG has agreed to make himself and his direct reports available to the successful researchers to facilitate successful outcomes from the research conducted.

We look forward to working with Western Sydney University on this project, and look forward to sharing updates and outcomes.
