This year marks the 14th International Project Management Day on the 1st of November – a day designed to recognise the achievements and advancements of our project teams , project organisations  and the project profession worldwide.

In the spirit of the day ICCPM has chosen to mark the celebration over a 2 week period!  We would like to encourage our network of project professionals to join the celebrations by sharing their knowledge and wisdom to review the ICCPM Complex Project Manager Competency Standards – of which we are the sole custodians and which are available to project/program mangers worldwide!  You will also have the opportunity to hear from the experience of Senior CPM leaders and executives to learn from their many insights.

We will be hosting 2 events:

Canberra – 26 October (registrations closing soon! – 19 Oct)

Sydney – 05 November (registrations closing 29 Oct)

Numbers will be limited to to ensure a productive consultation process.

Senior project managers, HR professionals, and people with expertise in complexity and the development of project management standards, are encouraged to participate.

So far the review process has been held in: Sydney, Australia; Vienna, Austria; and Delft, The Netherlands.

Collaborating with ICCPM on this initiative is GAPPS, The Global Alliance for the Project Professions. For nearly 20 years GAPPS has been the gateway to the world of project management, writing performance based standards for project delivery and mapping various project standards for associations and governments.  To find out more about GAPPS click here.
