ICCPM Fellow and Managing Risk in Complexity Special Interest Group Member and Contributor, Ian Mack has this month published an article on the Canadian Global Affairs Institute (Institut Canadien Des Affaires Mondiales).
The article, titled Hard Things Are Hard: Lessons for Complex Procurement Projects, offers fascinating insights on the challenges and opportunities of complex project delivery that influence timely delivery, stakeholder management, and meeting performance parameters.
The article references the Complex Project Leadership Competency Standards which were released in late-2023, endorsed by Deputy Secretary Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), Australian Department of Defence, on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia.
