The Risk Engineering Society (RES) and Australian Cost Engineering Society (ACES) of Engineers Australia are jointly organising a combined Risk Engineering & Project Controls
Conference, to be held on 15-17 May 2019 at the Sydney International Convention Centre (ICC), NSW, Australia. The program will include pre-conference workshops on 15th May, while the presentations will run on 16-17 May.The theme for the conference is “A Time for Action – Risk Engineering & Project Controls Impacting the Future”.
The Asia Pacific infrastructure market is projected to grow 7-8 per cent a year, reaching US$5.36 trillion a year by 2025 – 60% of the world total. This staggering statistic reveals the infrastructure industry is in the grips of enormous change, with projects becoming larger, more complicated and multi-faceted.
These massive complex infrastructure projects need more than traditional project management methods to address the project challenges and successfully deliver projects on time, budget and with all key objectives achieved. The conference offers an environment to discuss key challenges and opportunities in these complex, mega, infrastructure projects.
